Background
Le Corbusier placed Beni Ourain rugs in Villa La Roche, and one lay in the living room of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater. Their calm ivory ground works with oak, concrete, linen and mid century furniture. Vintage pieces have a softer, more lived in wool than new production, and every diamond is drawn freely by the weaver.
